Do not have a measuring wheel that follows the contoure of the stem.
Has got a straight line measuring system (Ruler measuring) over a sprocket wheel, integrated with the feed chain. There is no interference from barks, twigs, limbs, knobs, snow, ice or slippering bark that will effect the length measuring.
